About

Designboost was founded in 2007

David Carlson and Peer Eriksson founded Designboost in 2007. After many years as a design strategist and a communicator respectively, they realised that the options for sharing design knowledge were often conditional: either they were strictly academic or affected by special interests. Designboost works with a project organisation and a worldwide network based on competence to avoid these limitations.

David Carlson is an international acclaimed design thinker and trend strategist and has been working in the forefront of the international design scene for twenty years. David has a true entrepreneurial spirit and is besides of Designboost also the founder of the design brand David Design, the trend report David Report and the lifestyle shop Carlson Ahnell. For many years David works with creative direction and visualises and conceptualises brand strategies by creating experiences like new innovative products, services, communication and environments. David has an important international network in the global design community.

Peer Eriksson is an award winning communication strategist. With 28 year’s experience in the world of advertising and communication and between 1995-2008 owner of his own communication agency. Peer has been involved in many different kinds of projects and promotional activities. From the mounting of exhibitions to the design and production of international advertising campaigns, from educational ventures to book design and production, creativity has been the agency’s key theme and constant battle cry. Peer has always combined an interest in photography and fine art with the commercial work of the agency. This has lead to an involvement in numerous exciting book productions and exhibition projects alongside his work as the agency’s manager and creative director.
